Systems and Process Support Engineer – Preston

The role of the Systems Support Engineer is key to our Company. The Company utilises a portfolio of software to enable smooth field operations processes or back office process. You will be responsible for a segment of the software portfolio and you will address the performance of this software and any employee / process improvements required within the operating systems. The system users are the core customer base and should present efficiency improvement suggestions to Systems Support via tickets, or through systems knowledge, the Systems Support Engineer will identify these opportunities. Excellent customer service and high quality workmanship along with the completion of all aspects of administration to support smooth operations must be demonstrated and all behaviours in support of our values must be evident throughout your employment.

Role Responsibilities

Evaluating the needs and current working practices of system users for the software you are responsible for.

Identify where process adjustment would enhance user experience and continue to provide robust management information or improve the management information collected from the system.

Identify Standard Operating Processes for systems use for the systems that you are responsible for.

Ensure you develop your system knowledge and user to super user/expert status.

Develop robust relationships with the software providers to ensure you can clearly articulate any developmental requirements. You must ensure a clear cost benefit analysis is undertaken prior to any development spend and any development project is sanctioned.

Create and delivering a training for system users to ensure they possess a robust understanding of the system you are responsible for and their use of the system is compliant and in support of the processes you have defined.
