Althams Travel Services Ltd are an independent travel agency with 32 branches. Our UK coverage through the group of companies, meant they could use a single supplier for all of their premises. Althams Travel Services Ltd have been trading since 1874, originally a tea merchant, transporting their goods throughout the UK, over the years the business changed and evolved, and the travel industry was where they found their calling, their knowledge of travel born from their tea days part of their journey to where they are today.
With 31 trading branches, keeping on top of the fire protection systems can be a challenge. Managing different dates of when servicing was due in each building was not an easy task. When different suppliers were used and a fault was highlighted on the system, ensuring maintenance and completed works would be difficult to oversee. Walker Fire took a pro-active approach, contacting each branch when system servicing or maintenance was required, this is made possible by our bespoke customer record and planning system.
